Creativity in Quarantine

Most of us are all stuck indoors right now, even though spring is here. It is so hard to feel like you cannot go out and do your normal fun, spring activities. BUT, what you can do is try new things! I know, I know, I've said this before- and I know you have heard it before too! It is so true though. I am lucky enough to be 'sheltered in place' in a place that is so connected to nature. I have always dreamed of doing a photo-shoot with my products outside in a beautiful forest, with birds chirping, and sunshine beaming down on everything. However, I do not have a camera and I have absolutely *no* experience with photography. These reasons always kept me from doing what I dreamed of with product photography. As I was stuck sitting in the house though, feeling sad about not being able to be outside with my friends running and exercising under the sun, I remembered my dream photo-shoot. With nothing else to do, I decided to go for it. It was such a creative and fun experience to try and make a set up that would look good with only myself taking pictures on an iPhone. I was so happy throughout this entire process and it really made me feel awesome that these products that I worked so hard on finally looked as good as I always dreamed they could. This is such a good lesson learned from this time indoors- the thing you always dreamed of doing is sitting right there! You just have to get up, walk to it, and give it a try!
